Jonathan Sparrow is responsible for Cisco’s business in Russia & CIS. He has more than 25 years of experience working in the information and communications industry. Prior to Cisco Jonathan served as the VP of business development for Qualcomm covering Russia, Turkey and Eastern Europe working with mobile operators and retailers promoting Qualcomm’s industry leading chipsets for mobile devices. Before joining Qualcomm, he worked for the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, supporting the establishment of Skolkovo Tech’s first three Centers of Research, Education and Innovation. From 2003 to 2010, Jonathan was the Country Director for Nokia Networks and then Nokia Siemens Networks. Other previous roles he held include: Deputy General Director at Accenture where Jonathan led the Communications and High Tech business, Director of Sales and Marketing for Deutsche Telekom Mobile in Russia, and Director of Sales and Marketing for Millicom International Cellular in Russia. Born on June 14th, 1963 in Hanover, New Hampshire, Jonathan received a BA from Rutgers University in the department of Russian and East European Studies. He has been living and working in Russia since 1990. Jonathan is married and has 2 children.
