Guido Gluschke
Director, Institute for Security and Safety, Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences

Guido Gluschke is one of the directors of the Institute for Security and Safety (ISS) at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences, where he teaches in the field of cyber and nuclear security. Serving also as the university's program manager on international cyber security, he is responsible for joint projects with international organisations. Mr. Gluschke's main areas of expertise are IT and cyber security, especially in the energy context. He holds a Master of Science degree in Security Management from the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences and a diploma in Computer Science from the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences. Mr. Gluschke is an expert in cyber security in the nuclear context and was a member of various international experts groups, such as the Energy Expert Cyber Security Platform - Expert Group of the European Commission Directorate Generale Energy, Brussels, an Nuclear Cyber Security Expert Group at Chatham House, London, and at Nuclear Threat Initiative, Washington as well as a member of the Utility Cyber Security Initiative (UCSI), an initiative of the US Energy Association. In 2015 Mr. Gluschke was chairman of the IAEA International Nuclear Security Education Network (INSEN). He is a member of the working group on cyber resilience in the energy sector of the World Economic Forum.
